Internet: Good or Bad?

Today, the internet plays a very important role in people's lives. Finding information is one of the popular activities when using internet. Nevertheless, the Internet Search (IS) doesn't have only advantages but also disadvantages which we can make better.
The advantages can be realized easily. First of all, IS saves you a lot of time. You are able to look for the information ablot something or a famous person in a brief time. For example, try typing "Barack Obama" in Google and press enter; you can receive 122 million results about Mr. Obama in 0.11 seconds! Moreover, if you click menu "Imagines" in Google, you will see 14.7 million photos OF him. Doing this task just takes you 0.05 seconds! Second, the IS also saves your money. If we didn't have the internet, we would have to waste a lot of money for buying an expensive encyclopedia. Although an encyclopedia is good to look for the information about something, it takes you a lot of time to look up and money to buy it. Accurate and up-to-date information is another advantage of the IS. There are a lot of people using the internet and checking the facts.
However, there are also some disadvantages when using the IS. Viruses, spywares and Trojans are dangerous things on the internet. They can attack your computer, steal your private information like credit cards or even erase all data. Significantly, some viruses are capable of controlling your company network and making it freeze. To protect your PC, you should set up a firewall, which will monitor all the information inside and outside. In addition, installing antivirus software is a good idea to keep your PC safe. Another problem is websites only for adults. These black websites made by bad guys are about naked girls or sexual relationships. It's absolutely not good for children to see them! If you have children or don't want to see them, you need to set up a filter in your PC. The final problem might be that you must have a computer and the internet for searching. In my opinion, it’s only a tiny disadvantage because the computers and the internet are everywhere now!

Nowadays, more and more people use the Internet Search for their work and study. It seems to be a good thing. However, we absolutely need to be carefull when using it.
